  1. Polymers are Forever is a powerful chapter on the affects of plastics within our environment throughout the last 50+ years. Just the known or suspected damage is mind boggling and begs the question, how much more harm is being inflicted that hasn't been realized yet.

The Re-enchantment of Art speaks to the statements that can be made with meaningful art. Political, ecological, conservatory statements as well as industrial waste statements can be expressed through art in various forms.

  2. The reading, "Polymers are forever" is an important chapter of the book that dates back into the 1800s through present times. It first, discussed how plastics were invading the environment from washing up on the beach and damaging the sea life, which to me is crazy because we still have the same problem today. Thus through the years of plastic coming into the environment, people use plastic as exfoliators putting it on delicate skin without knowing it is in his or her product. It’s like there will never be a solution cause this durable long-lasting plastic that invades America’s land comes from other countries, as well as ours through time.
